Remarks

At last, this college is worth and the person should have grab the opportunity to get into it every thing is better than other colleges as per my view and the bad thing is that crowd.

Entrance Preview

To get addmission in this university i gave thier upesite entrance test which is conducted by university itself, that time i got 3080 rank and i choose computer science engineering specialisation in Oil and Gas informatics in collaboration with IBM.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is totally different from other colleges with a high level of courses and the faculty is well educated with proper qualifications.

Internships Opportunities

Most of IT company visit to our campus and it trains most of the students my internship was in IBM,india and the experience i got was really amazing with best work culture.

Placement Experience

Last year my seniors placement was 95% and all seniors placed in reputated companies with good packages.

College Events

College conducts lot of festival major ones are UURJA as cultural fest, IGNITE as technical fest and it also conduct IBM fest at the end of the semester.

Campus Life

Campus life is fully depend on you gender ratio is 700:1000 respective to the girls:boys labs contain each and every working instrument as required for the student.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are awesome with full of facilites as required for the new generation students fees is quite high but its worth for mess food i would like to give 4 out of 5.

Senior students are really helpfull and guide you where ever needed our college conduct alumini meet each and every year.

College is just about attending lectures

From 4th semister the students become elegible for the campus placements. since i am in 2nd year i ahve not been a part of placements yet so my knowlege is based of university communication and peer intraction. The no. of students placed is high every year. the no. many vary but over85% students elegible of placements are placed. I will sit for placements

Not Perfect , But Definitely Worth the Journey

Placement Experience:

placements is generally good , specially for students who actively build their skills through project and coding practice . students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem , internships are offered from 5th n 6th sem ...also in the 1st and 2nd year we have internship like in the 1st year we have SRIJAN internship in which we work in a NGO and in the 2nd year we have an internship in a company. highest package reported in recent years is 50+ lpa while average for computer science related programs is generally around 8 - 9 lpa after completing my graduation degree i plan to pursue opportunity in cybersecurity for 2-3 years and then continue my studies.

IIT Roorkee - The complete story

Placement Experience:

Being an IIT, the campus placements are pretty good. Over 90% of the batch gets placed, with a median of 20LPA. All major tech, financial and management companies come for placements. Highest package generally goes up to 2 crores each year, though this is an international offer. The highest domestic package is around 80LPA. These offers are generally for the quant offered by HFTs (High frequency trading), which refers to quantitative analysis in stock trading. The placement season is in first sem of 4th year, and if you have a good resume with 8+ CGPA, you are all set to go. I plan on sitting for AI-ML placements.

MY amazing college life , a perfect balance of studies and fun .

I applied for Symbyosis but the fee structure was very high anf quite unaffordable for me . I also gave Cuet but i wasnt getting any nice and useful subject combinations .
