IIM K liberal studies and management

The liberal studies course is like a normal PGP MBA program in terms of exams and placements the major difference is in the course structure where courses like psychology, sociology, and leadership are taught along with management courses like strategic management, financial management, and operations. The faculties are so good.

Internships interview happen during the first year of college and various profiles like consulting, finance, operations, marketing, and general management are offered. The internship is offered for 8-10 weeks which is a compulsory part of the curriculum.

During the first year of college students sit for the Summer internships interview process and during the second year students sit for final placements. All students from the course are eligible for both summers and finals.

The course is divided into 6 semesters and fees have to be paid at the begging of every semester. Many scholarships are also provided as per family income and other criteria.

IIM Kozhikode campus is one the most beautiful campus in India. The campus is more like a resort with beautiful scenic views and all the amenities. The college has various clubs and committees and mast fests are organized all around the year by the clubs and committees.

The program is a residential program so it's compulsory to stay on campus during the period of the course. There the separate hostels for boys and girls and juniors and seniors. During the first year single occupancy non ac Rooms are provided and in Suri's second year double shared ac rooms are provided. Hostel allocation is on a random basis.

CAT score, with a Personal interview round, people with graduate degrees in any field are eligible. People with work experience and freshers both can apply. GD and personal interviews are part of the final composite score. The interview will be like a normal b school interview where questions on work experience past academic history current affairs and personal background can be asked and most important why you have an interest in this course.
