Assessment methods are usually split between exam and continuous assessment coursework (eg reports, computer exercises, laboratories and essays). Some modules are assessed by coursework only.The number of learning hours for each module is determined by its credit weighting. For example, for a 30-credit module there would be 300 learning hours. This would be divided into contact hours (i.e time spent with academic staff) and independent learning hours (example time spent in the studio, library, or workshop with or without technical support).

Fisat is under kerala technological university .exams are conducted by university. procedures for exam are follows :  Students have to register for the courses they want to credit.  Later they enroll for the registered courses. (Except for the first semester, registration for the courses in the up coming semester is done at the end of the current semester and enrollment is done at the beginning of the new semester. In the first semester ,all students shall register for all courses at the beginning of the semester and there is no enrolment. through kerala entrance examination we need to upload our marks and rank into entrance commissioner website from there we can choose college I got admission on the basis of cut off marks. I opted this college because it has good academic rank and it's a north campus college. If your marks satisfy the cut off criteria you can get admission. You will have three days time to get admission.it was a good experience because the staff which was verifying the documents were very polite and dedicated. On the day of admission, I got some friends.

All faculty in our college are m tech graduates The faculty is nice. Everyone tries to teach us something so everyone is my favorite. and they have knowledge about their fields and they are well qualified. They clear our doubt and sometimes they take time but they always give a correct suggestion .Semester to semester feedback of teachers is taken by the students and they try to improve themselves and take possible solutions for it.Much has been written about under prepared students who enter college. Since more students attend college now than ever before, it is only rational that some are not as prepared as we might expect. Our Institutions are dealing with this issue, and instructors must do some rethinking about how they teach, in order to meet the needs of all learners in their classrooms.
