Course Curriculum Overview

MBA-HR Course at IIM ASR is niche and Profs are very helpful, MBA Curriculum is very rigorous. There are 3 sems in a year, in each sem you need to appear for both Midterm and end-term. There is component-wise marking.

Placement Experience

IIM Amritsar provides a plethora of opportunities to the students for both Summer and Final Placements. It has a record of 100% Placements. Also, the YoY growth is decent compared to other B-Schools. Roles are offered from various domains. HR, Fin, Sales and Marketing, Analytics, MT, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided on a merit basis from the institute, and also we get other scholarship opportunities from various other organizations. Compared to other premier B-schools, the fee is decent. One can easily avail of loans from banks without a mortgage.

Campus Life

We have access to a plethora of journals, books, magazines, and other reports available in both, soft copy and hard copy. There are various clubs and committees for extracurricular activities and for the holistic growth of a student. Be it Sports, Cultural, Academic Clubs, Literature, etc. Classes are equipped with all facilities.

Admission

You need to appear for the CAT Exam, a minimum of 85 percentile is required to get a call at IIM Amritsar. The cut-off is the same for all the courses - MBA Core, MBA-HR, and MBA-BA. After that, there will be a PI Round. Selection is based on various criteria, like your acads, Work ex, etc.

Great College

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, companies start approaching the college and the college starts the placements. Almost all active students have been placed. Many large corporations come to the college for placements. There are not much internship opportunities though.

100% placement at USB CU!

Remarks:

I completed my BBA from CU and really liked this university because of it's amazing infrastructure and the kind of high level education and practical skills they were providing. It was already decided that I wanted to pursue an MBA program in the long run. I took CAT and was able to score as per CU criteria and I was an alumni of this college only so I was given preference, although the admission was done on merit basis. I also had to pay INR 1000 as the application fee while applying through the official website of the university.

One of the best College for MBA

Remarks:

Recently LPU successfully organized the Indian Science Congress which was too good. There are 3 Nobel lecturers that interact with students and faculties, was a wonderful experience. There are 5 food courts inside the campus which is much good.
