Course Curriculum Overview
My course is a triple major course so that i can acquire more knowledge and depth of understanding to opt for one for my future. All the lecturers here are PhD holders and got a good grip on the subject, every year few change and few in every sem. The exams are conducted as planned at the beginning of the year.
Placement Experience
The placements after Bsc are fewer and useless, Msc is highly recommended to get a good salaried job. I will pursue my MSc and do PhD in botany. My plan is not to get a salary but to do good for human welfare. And college teaches the same. The package after bsc is around 5 lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of 100000 is a bit high but this is only because I have biotechnology in my course. Coming to the scholarship, Karnataka students get 20000 off in total fees. And when applied for financial crisis form another 20000 or according to the sensitivity, the amount is minimized. There is an alumni financial assistance group which when talked can help a lot regarding fees.
Campus Life
The campus is full of green, a positive vibe is always there. Can see birds, cats and many other lovely animals. huge sports grounds to provide good facilities for sports and games. There is a number of clubs to get busy and spread social awareness. It not only builds the world but also us by shaping us.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel accommodation for girls is very competitive and both UG and PG can apply. But whereas for men its only for PG, UG students can settle down in nearby pgs or rent houses. As far as ik the rules and regulations for college hostel is strict and has large space for accommodation. Life is easy for the college hostlers and will be provided with different kind of ID cards.
Admission
The application fee was 1500 and during mid of February, they announce the interview session and fix a date. Firstly the interview is done in a WebEx meeting, secondly, for my course, there was no written entrance exam. Generally, they ask us to introduce later on some general questions based on the previous year's reading and finally, they ask us to speak by providing a topic to check on English fluency.
Interview Experience
For my course Bsc biotechnology, chemistry and botany no such GD/ written test was conducted. A normal and easy interview was setup online. Firstly they asked me to introduce myself and later on asked few questions based on 11th and 12th. Adter that to check on english fluency, a topic was provided and was asked to speak about it for 2min with 30seconds for preparation.
