Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is good as it has so much of oppurtinities. And the cyllabus is also good. The teaching is also good they provide ppts and important questions and the exam is also not so difficult . They provide intership in 3rd and 4th semester which is in muvattupuzha, kerala.

Internships Opportunities

4

They provide internship in the 3rd semester , 4th semester and 5th semester in dentcare muvatuppuzha kerala . They have all the facilities in thr lab and the lab is one the best lab in the world. They provide a good facility in the lab.

Fees and Financial Aid

For yearly the fees is one lakh thirty thounsand rupees (130000). Totaly there are six semester in first semester we paid seventy thousand rupees (70000). Remaining semester we have to sixty five thousand rupees (60000) each. We paid thousand rupees (1000) as admission fees. For 3rd semester we have to pay thirteen thousand rupees (13000) as material fees. And for fourth semester material fees is around nine thousand rupees ( 9000). In the first and second semester we have to buy materials by ourselves which costs around five thousand rupees (5000 ) for each semester.

Campus Life

1

They provide all the books in the librabry including the textbooks. Which makes it easy to learn for the exams. There are so many programmes being held in the college which is not for our course and all other courses. In the classrooms they provide ac and in the lab they provide fan . There are no separate classrooms or lab for our course. So many extracurricular activities are provided for the dental college and the allied students actually our course comes under allied but our lab and faculties are in dental college so are course is provided in dental college and thus we do not get any programmes under allied not dental college.

Admission

In other colleges bsc dental technology was not there and it was all diploma of the same course so i applied in this college . By seeing the college ambience and everything it looked good from outside until my classes started in yenepoya . Eligiblity is +2 pass with science background maths , physics and chemistry. The admission booking process is through online. And admission process is offline for which we have to come to the university on the required date.

Faculty

1

The faculties of bsc dental technology is so worse compared to other courses . They dont provide programmes only for bsc dental technology and they are so strict , we feel like studying in school and not in college . One of the faculty is the worse ma'am she has so much of partialty to the students even in correcting the answer sheets she give marks according to her will. The HOD of bsc dental technology is also bad not supportive to the students they did not provide mid sem break only for bsc dental technology when all other allied students got the break we were attending the classes and in second semester also they did not give us proper break they only gave 10 days leave when all other courses got a month.

Night Life

3

No nightlife in the university for the study purpose we can use the librabry provided by the college. Around the college there are so many food spots which is so good but as i stayed in hostel for 1st year i couldnt enjoy the night life as we should be there in the hostel before 6.30 pm . The locality is so safe to roam at night. They provide gym boys as well as girls and cafeterias also which is so good.

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
