Nurturing minds ,transforming lives: yenepoya dental college review

For me to decide that my area is dentistry because it is a combination of doctor + engineer+ artist.im an art lover, I do small canvas drawings and calligraphy's and I'm a baker and cake artist????.these are reason why I choosed dentistry. The curriculum is very helpful,but lill hectic too. I suggest to include forensic dentistry as a separate topic as i felt interest in that field And I wish that it will happen in next few years .as I said the hectic syllabus and quotas can be relieved by making semester wise exams rather yearly

Our yenepoya deemed to be university provides internship programmes and give stipen of 6000rupees as of my knowledge I don't know clear about it as I'm just in 3rd of my course which has 4 years and a year of internship programme

The yearly fee is about 300000(3lakhs) The total which is to be paid is 1500000(15lakhs)for me because of the meritual scholarship (based on plus two marks-should be above 90% to eligible for scholarship) The original fee structure is about 200000(20lakhs)rupees But they made had made a condition for the eligibility of scholarship amount as the students are only allow for the scholarship after 90%of attendance and above 75% of marks in university exams So this is very crucial point for the college students

The campus life and atmosphere is good we usually have sports in the month of jan and cultures in aug-sep and we used to have food fests and Onam and other celebrations by consecutive departments The library is big and we are having access for various books other than study materials The classroom is high tech with two smart screens along with sound system and the attendance is done by biometric face regestration Before corona pandemic my college had club activities Recently they had renewated the club activities

I only applied for yenepoya dental college because of several reasons like, One of the best colleges in mangalore Is A+ graded institute It is ranked 26 in nirf And so and so The Eligibility is by attempting neet exam and and should have eligibility marks And we should apply for counselling after based on the rankings they will select the candidates

The faculties easily approachable and the faculties are adequate in number And we have a mentor for each ten students In my first year I liked dr Shakeel sir and dr sudeendra sir only because of their interest in teaching and their way of teaching In second year I liked dr Jayaprakash sir of dental materials because of sirs teaching and humour character In total for a year there is 3internal exams and 1 university exam 5% failures are seen
