I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much,every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

I applied for yenpoya dental college,kasturba medical college,sdm dental,saveetha dental colleges I got confirmed admission in yenpoya,sdm dental,saveetha dental college I chose this college because academically i got to know they have good results Also nirf ranking is 1 I got rejection from kasturba medical college My neet ranking was not that good so I could not make it to that college To get admission in my college you have to go through neet ug entrance exam.Rankimg decide the admission There is rank cutoffs for that and nirf ranking,infrastructure also depends on that

Faculty to student ratio is 10:100 Faculty student relationship is interactive.Professors guide and learning experience is outstanding Faculty I liked most is Gayathri maam She will teach you such difficult topic in very easy way and make sure ypu go at home with something and not nothing Name of faculty I didnt like Karthik sir He was very strict and make you do lot of punishment work when you dont answer his questions. He is very very strict during vivas At the same time he will make you understand important topics at ease,just his way of teaching is strict There are total 20 exams 15 sessionals ,3 sessional exam each year and 5 university exams Final year part 1 exam and part 2exams are there Its very very difficult to pass these exams,specially vivas Theory and practical exams are different Mostly 5 students fail each year I feel course curriculum is stressful but good to manage the total syllabus

Gym like marena is tgere,mahe health lifescience library is there which closes by 9:30 Hostel and campus in timings are 9:30 for first years awhich eventually gets reduced to 11:30 for final years and interns Famous hangout places like hadiqa,Eye of the tiger,dexter,dollops,the mill,shalas All are inside the campus It is totally locality safe to roam around at night
