Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum aligns with the standard bds curriculum. experienced faculty teach us we have interactive application based classes which is helpful to deal with patients in the future improvement to be suggested would be to shorten the time frame of classes exam are standard level. sometimes difficult

Internships Opportunities

the only internship available is the compulsory internship in 5th year of bds. apart from that students can do free internships for various programs . many research projects are open to students interested.

fees: 550000 lakhs per annum irrespective of reservation fee for batch topper (NEET merit list): free (one person) scholarships available for students who secured a rank under 1.5 lakh in NEET exam. statistics vary yearly

Hostel Facilities

Hostels ranging from bad to good are available. NIH mess is the better mess compared to food court and indira mess. registration for mess and hostel is to be done through mu slcm. the hostel i stay in has a kitchen counter and balcony alongside basic amenities

Admission

This college was my first choice and thankfully i got in. The admission process is on the basis of the neet all india counselling system. 10+2 boards pass and neet eligibility is the criteria for admission.

faculty is very interactive. they are strict yet friendly . every student in first year is given a teacher guardian. 10 students-one teacher guardian. there are 4 exams throughout the year. majority of the class passes with good grades

The course curriculum is very well designed the university, they first teach the bacis in the first year , and in the second year they prepare us for the clinicals ( pre Clinical work ) , and in the third year we get exposure to patients in all the nine departments, and in final year more of the exposure is given.

The curriculum is on par with other colleges n the college is constantly trying to improve it which is a gr8 thing!! But one thing which would do wonders is bringing latest dental tech into the curriculum which rarely 1-2 colleges do in India n I would love for our college to bring in this change!! Some dental materials r so old n not used anymore , but still they r in curriculum so...they can even change that!!

The eligibility of this course requires you to pass neet ug exam with a minimum percentile of 50. Since being an international college, for a placement here, a minimum of 75 percentile is necessary. You can find the application form in the official site of mahe, though for health care professions, after the nta allot you seat, you will get the mail and you complete the application process alonf with fee payment in the college itself with the staff guiding you The frequency of exam and timing usually it fall on may , every 1st week of Sundays.
