Course Curriculum Overview
IIM Amritsar is offering General MBA, MBA BA and MBA HR, I took BA based on my work experience, faculty ratio is 1:60 for every subject that we opt for, and they are well qualified from prestigious IIM's, the course is bit rigorous and will follow the strict deadlines but you will get used to it as an MBA student.
Internships Opportunities
There are many top companies that are visiting every year like Schindler, Dalmia, Piramal group, BenQ offering Marketing, strategy, operations and product management roles to get placed in this written exams and assignments are given, after qualifying in those you will get shortlisted for the interviews.
Placement Experience
Students can sit for campus placements from 4th term, each and every company that visits the campus will hire students, 26 LPA is the highest in 2023 and achieved 100% placements, and hoping to work in prestigious company after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike depends upon various conditions as it s fast growing IIM and the permanent campus is about to complete it will cost you around 1800000 with food and hostel facilities, students who perform better can avail director's merit scholarship which will help them to study for free of cost.
Campus Life
All the cultural and technical activities were run by the student bodies, college's library will match the student requirements and will get access to many e- journals, classrooms are well structured, Annual sports fests are conducted and social groups like Sankalp and technical committees like preaxial and many other committees and clubs were run by the students.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are well furnished with basic requirements, Meal quality is good but you can't expect great taste, registrations for hostel is done with the admission process itself, and have to pay 75000 per year and it is mandatory to take accommodation from college.
Admission
You have to give CAT exam to be eligible for the course, you can go to the CAT official website and can apply online application which is around Rs 2000, you can avail reservation benefits under given criteria, and in my view admission process is clear and perfect.
Interview Experience
GD might be composed of financial affairs or any other trending topics, and the test is composed of aptitude reasoning, after getting good percentile which is under criteria then you will get an PI call for the admission process, for these rounds you have prepare well on your profile and basic general knowledge is required to clear the round for admission.
