Remarks

You can take admission through Webjee, jee mains. If you are going to take admission through webjee in civil engineering you should get a rank of at least 17000 in Webjee. There is a reservation also available if you are from West Bengal domicile then well and good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering because there is a lot of opportunity in government job like ssc jee, rrb jee etc. Our faculty teach enough for govt job preparation. If you have consistency then you achieve your goal easily. There is a good enough faculty-student ratio. All the faculty completed Master's degrees from reputed colleges some of them completed MBAs also.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very cheap among other colleges in West Bengal. A hostel facility is also available. In the first semester fee was 72500 and 2nd semester fee was 60000. The 3rd-semester fee is 45000 and the rest of the semester fees same as the 3rd semester.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest and tech fest available in college in April month it was conducted every year. Annual fests like mesmerizer, phoenix etc conducted by the college There are a lot of sports opportunities available like cricket, football, kabaddi etc.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

My Thoughts regarding nsec kolkata

In other top 10 colleges of west bengal you want 5000 rank for getting computer science engineering. But in this you can get cse in 12000 rank. If you have rank more than 12000 such as 40000.
