Remarks

First, you have to give Maharashtra state engineering entrance exam called MHT-CET on the basis of percentile you got admission to this college you have to score a minimum of 180+ marks for the cs/it department for general category students.

The faculty is good but not up to the mark, which was there in past. Faculty are well educated but Now most of the teachers are on a contract system, moat of the newly joined teacher has no idea what going on they just complete the syllabus and move on College is autonomous that's why teachers whatever they teaching and provided notes question ask directly from this exam

The college provides internships for 2nd-year students, but many few students get internships in 2nd year in 3rd year around in cs it extc student per branch there are 30 students who get internship company like jp morgen visit come for internships

The fees of college are quite low compared to other engineering colleges in Maharashtra Also, a scholarship is available for OBC SC ST NT PWD students other than this scholarship, the college provides financial support to economically weaker students, other than you can pay fees by installation

Campus Life

Although the campus is just 16 Acer it is situated in the heart of Mumbai this is a 100-year-old campus that includes two full-size grounds, a hostel, mess. There are many annual fests that happen in college in the month of January to feb for students which includes pratibimb largest culture fest that happens in mumbai after iitb other than that technovanza is a tech fest that is conducted by student of vjti in this in this technovanza conducted an isro science exhibition which attracts 80,000-foot fall in college

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provided in campus but only out side of Mumbai and Thane district students are eligible per branch only 10-12 students selected for hostel selected on the basis of cet rank The hostel is very affordable as compared to other pg in Mumbai Mess is good but you feel bored after some time

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
