Likes

I like hostel facility why because of they maintain very hygiene
I also like the food because we are tasting first north Indian food
And I also like the teaching staff they are well experienced staff

Dislikes

In this college it very sad say that we don't have sportsany
And mainly we didn't get any outing regularly
As this is the residental course we have maintain proper strict rules

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and I need to be proud of being a mariner coming to faculties and teaching staff is good as we are lucky to say that they are well-experienced teaching staff and have good knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I'm studying in a marine college the fees are high compared to other courses and it is nearly about 295000 per year but they provide nice knowledge to ours and coming to my campus jobs it is poor and very hard to get the campus jobs.

Campus Life

Life in my college is very nice and because of my interest I joined in this course so I am willing to study accordingly to their climate as we are studying in marine college we did not have any ECA.

Hostel Facilities

I'm my college hostel is very nice and they maintain the hostel hygiene coming to my meals is like north Indian food but we are habitat for that food because we need to eat that one in a ship that's why we are habitat for that.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

For getting admission to a marine college we need to write a common entrance test that is imu cet ( Indian maritime University). after getting ranked in imu cet we want to choose our course then they will proceed further process according to the college rules and regulations. And there will be a good response after getting admission to this college ( Coimbatore Marine College).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course covers the basic of the subjects and we have not gained advanced knowledge. Although well prepared, it was difficult to attend the entrance exam in other institution. Practicals are less than theory. So the course should give more deep knowledge about the subjects and also practical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good enough with average package of 2-2.5 lac per annum. I was more interested into further masters study so didn't borther much about participating in college placements. but one of my college friend was in HSS department got into HR of 11 lac package per annum.

Reality of marine field

Its not about the rejection in other colleges it's about fees in tamilnadu compared to other colleges the cmc is best for studies in affordable fees. And also there will be imucet entrance exam the students have to clear that the they allow you to the college. For me it's about last rank in passed students still the cmc took me for studies they won't see rank. And like other colleges it's not 100 percent placement.placement is there if you are skilled and studying student the job is yours.and same the college infrastructure is also a reason for choosing this college it will be look like a ship very attractive and another reason is coimbatore climate near kerala so the climate Will be nice....Read More
