The college management is good. The only negative remarks I would like to give is about parking fees which should not be collected from students as students should be allowed to park their vehicles free.

I took PGCET exam held by KEA(Karnataka Examination Authority). I scored 315 ranking in the whole state and got admission to this college since this college had marked its bench standards in Education & Training. I opted this college because of merits of this college such as Training of Courses, Placements in Industries & reputed organizations, an environment of college which is a plus.

The course was really good as subjects defined in course helped students to learn basics of industry and also helped in choosing their career path. The electives provided by the college were like advanced java programming, Dot Net programming, Computer Graphics, WEb Designing, XML, Web 2.0 & Flex subjects.

Yes. The college provided internship programme. The average stipend was about 15000 approximately. Tyre A &Tyre B companies had visited campus for internship and placements. Cerner was one of the major companies visited our campus and provided a stipend of 20K per month. Several other companies also visited such as MetricStream, L&T, Infosys, MindTree, Accenture, Unisys, DeltaX, PEOL(stipend 12K per month), Tech Mahindra and many other small companies.

Around 35 students out of 54 students were placed in different companies. College wise, 60 to 70% were placed in different organizations. Major companies which visited DSI college were Cerner India, L&T, Infosys, Cisco, MetricStream, Accenture, Unisys, DeltaX etc. Cerner offered 5.5 Lakhs CTC P.A, L&T 3.5 Lakhs, MetricStream 4.5 Lakhs P.A, Cisco(unknown), Unisys 4.5Lakhs P.A, DeltaX 4 lakhs P.A, PEOL 12K per month. All figures of stipend or salary offered were in 2014.

Annual Day, Graduation Day, Technical Fest by different departments as well as college level. Graduation day is one of the big event held by the college as all departments or branch students are gathered around 5K to 7K students along with their parents. Each student is allowed to invite their parents & relatives provide with only 3 passes as food coupon. Also celebrities come to the college. During my tenure, I was lucky to see actors like Hrithik Roshan for Krishh 3, Varun dhawan, Siddhart malhotra, alia bhatt and Karan Johar for SOTY film promotions.

The fee structure is about 85000 for the First year in MCA. The Second year it is 65000 The Third Year is again 65000. 57000 Rs is college pee. The lab fee is Rs. 5000, Extracurricular Fee is about 2000 Rs. Additional Language learning fee is 2000 Rs.

Scholarships were given to students who were backward class people. Also, other scholarships were there to motivate students.I had availed education loan from a nationalized bank but the college helped me to get it easily as they provided sufficient documents such as a letter from HOD.

The campus does have a green environment where students relax and study. It's a big campus where students sit study in shades, students play on the ground. There is basketball and tennis court as well. Cultural events are held anually. College fest is held for other colleges to participate. Also, inter college fest is held for students to explore for diiferent topics. The gender ratio is also maintained accordind to colege standards. Inter class sports are conducted anually.

The hostels were excellent as the food was provided by them twice in a day. The food was of proper quality. For residential students, the separate canteen was placed. Hostel rooms were clean as there was sufficient cleaning staff. Hostel fee was about 60K per year. The PG rentals near college were about 4 to 5K per month.

Alumni students or senior students are still in touch with everyone as the college conducts alumni fest and also several social groups have been created in different platforms like WhatsApp, separate site, facebook etc.

Exam structure held by the college is really good as it does not make students tense by conducting practical and theory exams with a gap of one or two days. The exam pattern was also good as students can attempt all questions. Very disciplined and cannot cheat in exam hall as only 30 students of different classes were allowed to sit in combination. The lab practicals were held in the afternoon which was an advantage as students will be tired in afternoon. The afternoon session of the lab practicals will help students to do well as there will more time for students.The labs were conducted only thrice in a week.

Since I got high rank in PGCET, I selected this college in counseling held by KEA for college selection. Once I selected this college, I took the acknowledgment of college selection from KEA office and submitted it in DSCE college. The college processed my form and provided 6 days time to deposit the admission fee. I had not paid any donation. I paid the fees of the first year in form of Demand Draft. The administration department provided me the receipt of fees paid.

The faculties were really good. Each faculty helps students explore well. Teaching was of excellent quality as teachers made sure that each student should learn basics and choose a good career path. Frequent Questionnaire will be held by faculties to help students to prepare for exploring the subject well. Staff also assures that projects are of standard and innovative for the final year. REcords of each student are maintained well and there will be a retest for students who did not do well in respective tests.For students who cannot attend the internals due to fever or emergency, the spare test will be conducted so that students do not lose marks in the final internals.
