I like the clubs and infrastructure of the campus
I love the friends sharing different cultures and religion which shows secularism and unity of the students.

Dislikes

It's too cold and hot weather here it so hard to bare it.
The hostels are maintained well needs some improvement .

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen electrical engineering and it is a well important course. The faculty of Nit Jalandhar is good. Qualification of the faculty and review teaching method is good the minor is taken twice per semester.

Internships Opportunities

Our Nit Jalandhar college provides good internship opportunities. the top companies visit our colleges and offer various internships with stipends. We do many projects and the outcomes are too good for our projects.

Placement Experience

The placements on the campus take every year. The average package of the campus is 12 lakhs per annum. the companies are top. the highest package is above 2 crores for ECE students. 70 percentage students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course is different for different caste. The fee structure for the onc students is 25000 rupees per semester. The mess fees are separate. The mess fee is 25000. The FFE scholarship Is good for students.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure and culture are so friendly. The college environment is full of greenery. I am enjoying it. The college has many useful clubs which help in developing the personality of the individual.

Hostel Facilities

The college have provided hostel facilities and the hostels are well good. The food in the hostel is new as it is of Punjabi type but nice to enjoy it .registration process for hostel and affordability is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

The admission process was well fair. I have given two entrance exams. First, the jee mains and the second one ts eamcet. The jee mains have the eligibility criteria of passing 12th and have a certain age limit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
