Beautiful campus , trees and flowers are planted allover the campus
The classrooms alloted are very nice and comfortable and the environment is good for studies
The teacher faculty provided is highly qualified and are good in teaching

I think there is need for hostels to increase the living conditions

I had chosen this course because I was interested in engineering and it was the best branch, I was getting in this rank in this college so I opted for this. The faculty is very well qualified and very good at teaching.

Placement Experience

The students in 4th year only are eligible for campus placement but other students can apply for an internship which is important for getting good placements. Most percentages of students get placed and the left out mostly apply for further high education. Many companies visit here like Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Walmart, Global, tech India, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are made with keeping in mind about all classes of society not can afford high fees so there are different fee waivers for different income classes. There are also many scholarships available for students based on their merit and income like NSP and others.

Campus Life

There are many different fests and events occurring here. Tech fest here is known as techniti which is conducted at the end of February. The fest here is called Utkansh and it is conducted in the last week of March which going on now. There are many clubs and groups for different interests. Many different fests and events are occurring.

Admission

For getting admission to this college you should go through jee mains examination. Without JEE Mains, no admission is given to this college. The application process is very simple and easy. There are many reservations for a student like home state and category based, etc.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
