The sports management is not that good as the space available for sports ground is not very much. Whereas the management for ragging activities is quiet good also there are various departments like SRE which work quiet well the library department is very nice with an additional digital library full of PCS.

I took UPESEAT exam and I got a rank of 3000 I had awesome reviews about civil engineering here the teaching methodology was known to be good but sports was not that good reviewed.

Projects are duly assigned and done regularly so overall nice always the latest projects are tried to be worked and developed whereas I think that all colleges have this process so it's not unique but yes it has a collab with IBM so I think it is a fresh start for UPES Some of the courses here are new so we don't know their packages as they have not been placed yet

Yes, it provides internship but I don't think that they send us to very big companies instead they are medium industries I haven't done any internship till now so, I don't know wether we would even get a stipend or not! But after discussion with my seniors, i have come to know that it is. Overall a good exoerience they don't get to work that much but yes they learn important things like wgat arr the flaws or advantages of working in a company

Placements take timely and approximately everyone gets placed except those who are really bad at studies or who don't wanna get placed but the DSA department responsible for placements works regularly on it. Placements are just fine but a very major issue is the package of the salary which students get the average package is 3 to 4 lacs which the college extracts Frok us within one year only

There are many enormous and very delightful and happy events which are celebrated in our college regularly like Uurja and ignite Etcetera, many non-technical, as well as technical events, also take place regularly like gaming dancing and singing competition in which we can participate. Also, many sports competitions are celebrated like football badminton cricket etc. Many of the students participate in them

Very expensive I don’t like being charged so much whatever it is UOES is not at all any IUT or BITS it doesn't even have a decent average package of salary or any extraordinary on campus life it is a very boring and monotonous life here in this college then also they charge approx. one point five lacs per semester which according to me is very high it should have been half of this

Yup loans from almost all the banks are available and a scholarship is available for meritious students and some projects are also funded by UPES.

Gender ratio is fine in computer science studies also girl outnumber boys in Kandoli campus where law is taught but in Bidholi campus where tech is taught i don't think girls were able to achieve outnumbering boys .but it is a very great thing that in UPES come from all over the India as well as abroad we have students here from south-north east and West India also many students are from saudi Arabia Dubai France Brazil etc. Many of them are here for internship purposes or specialization courses.

The hostel is very small and the starting 1000 to 1500 students can only reside there that too on sharing basis but there are plenty of hostels just outside the college so there is no issue of hostel whereas it is not in the city so we miss city's lifestyle also the food is very bad at most of these hostels many times we don’t feel like eating then the college food court works as an aid but it also not that great it is just a decent food court with some regular choices

Yes, very much in extracurricular activities but a little less in studies obviously we have to go to the seniors for studies but they are hardworking and creative they have awesome management skills.

Exams time-table is nice and they are not extended with a long time-table every exam is of three hours until it is our mid sems as tbey are of two hours only mid sem cintains some weigh-tage whereas the major exams are the end semester exams time soan is around one week as there is NIIT much gap between the exams VUVAS are conducted regularly the day sometimes becomes hectic sometimes not

First I gave the exam u Then after the result, I was called for counseling and seat reservation The procedure was very simple but a bit time consuming I had an option to choose two courses and whatever was the first course would be allowed if available a big hall was booked by up where we all were seated and called roll number wise (based on the rank we got in upset) the students of Dehradun and others who were a bit privileged for reservation or any other issues were allocated seats somewhere else but not with us

The faculty is average to me but yes I see a lot more potential everyone is pursuing their ph.D. according to the college they are good at imparting knowledge but some teachers are not that good so overall u would go for average only. There are many new courses so many new teachers are there
