Remarks

The college in overall fine as the faculty is very good.

Entrance Preview

I did not take any entrance exam.I chose this college because it is one of the top colleges of delhi in science and it is also easy for me to commute.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course syllabus for first semester is light so that students can take time to adapt to the college curriculum and academics. The electives include chemistry, maths, digital electronics statistics and topics from physics.Students apply for their choice of electives and based on their cutoff they are appointed the subjects.Other elective subjects include english and environmental science which are compulsory for each student to study.

Internships Opportunities

Ye the college provides internships.Companies like Uber provide internships. It's stipend is around 10,000 rupees.

Placement Experience

4

There is a placement committee of the college which helps students to get placements from the college.Companies that come to the campus are: Uber Each one teach one MAD NGO yes bank LFT SBI bank Ola And many more companies offer placement and job opportunities to all the students.

College Events

4.5

Events celebrated in the college are: Fresher's party- unofficial fresher takes place outside the college and the official fresher takes place in the college. College and university elections are around the mid semester and before the elections students campaign around the university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government university college the fee structure is feasible. The fee is not more than 15000 rupees. The fees depends on the course. For science courses there is a slight rise in the fee than the arts and commerce courses.Only tuition fee is given by the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university provides an education tour abroad which is cost free for students. It is a month's tour. three batches of twenty five students go for the tour.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is almost equal.Students are from all backgrounds but there is no discrimination due to their race ,religion or economic status. Societies of the college are active throughout the year. These societies include dance, art, sports, music, social service, placement.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are quite fine.I would rate it 3 out of 5. The hostel is adjacent to the collge campus and students are allowed to stay out till 9o clock at night.Full three times meals are given in the hostel mess. The pgs are right in front of the college and the average rental is 13000 rupees. There is also a market which provides photocopy shops and food outlets for students which are at cheaper rates.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students help in all aspects and are very helpful. They keep informing freshers about the college events.

Exam Structure

In the exams, the theory consisits of maximum 75 marks and internal assessment. includes 25 marks in which 5 marks are of attendence. If the attendence is above 90% the student scores 5 marks. Rest 20 include presentation and project work.Lab work or practical class is scheduled for 4 hours in the morning and to reduce students' work only one theory class takes place after the practical.

Admission

The admission was merit based. My score of class 12th examination fell under the cut off of the college for that particular course. All my documents for ex.- marksheet and birth proof were verified and submitted to the college. After submitting the fee admission was confirmed.

Faculty

4.5

All the teachers are well qualified. They have done PhD in their subjects. They are experienced and have a way of handling the students. They provide their knowledge without the use of books and are still understandable. They take regular assesments for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
