I Chose This Course Because I Liked Chemistry And Bio Both, And Did Not Want To Opt For Hons Courses. In Miranda Faculty: The student Ratio Is Somewhat Like 1:20 . This Is Similar To Most Of The Colleges In Du. Faculty In Miranda House Is the Greatest Of Great, All The Professors Have Studied From Well Known Reputed Colleges, Plus They All Have Research Background From Foreign Universities Like John Hopkins, Oxford, Etc. Teaching Method Is Basically Through Digital Ppts & Lecture Offered By Professors. Exams Were Like 2 Semester In A Year Like Every Other College. But The Tests That Were Taken In Class Were Easy And Designed To Help Students Understand The Practical And The Subject They Were Studying Throughout The Year.

Miranda House offers various internships in all the courses: internships are offered in various institutes -summer internships in the university of Southampton, Uk, at IIT GANDHINAGAR, IISC, BANGALORE. the stipend was INR 2 lacs

So for placements, there is a separate society in the college which deals with, the placement cell of MH. students are eligible for placements only after the completion of the course .90-95% from 3rd sem various companies like Accenture, DE shaw, TCS, unnati, etc. the highest package in 2021 was INR 19.2LPA. average package in 2021 was INR 5.5LPA. early 70- 90 % of students are placed my plans are to pursue a master's & then phD & then go abroad.

Fees structure is basically tution fees + expenses of lab + other academic expense+ the university examination fee which is to be paid before every semester's exams. one thing I liked about being in this college is that the various societies & WhatsApp groups made just for internships I even did one to experience & trust me it was worth it! if you want scholarships, then you would have many options .you just have to be aware of them.

Annual fest THE TEMPEST is one of the famous among all du colleges. it is usually conducted in march-april-may. the library has all the books & journals and even they are regularly stocked with new ones. classrooms have AC, BIG DESKS, BACKBOARD, SMARTBOARD& PODIUM. our college has 2 basketball courts, one big ground. there are many social groups run by meridians like AAVYA, ENACTUS, ABVP etc.

Eligibility of the course: you should have passed 12th from a recognized college. With a minimum of 60%. This year some changes have been done - there is now an entrance exam called CUET. after applying to du.admissions.com, there is a whole procedure for admission reservation- obc, sc, st, ews and some other minor categories are reserved for the benefit of students of weaker sections.
