since college is located in punjab overall vibe is good
utkansh is one of the best fest in north india
campus placemnets are also very good .tpo is good

since 21st century is the computer age .i choose cse as my branch.like in every other college some teachers are well knowledgeable and good and other not .exams are divided into 3 parts minor -1 20 marks minor -2 20 marks end sem -50 marks 10 marks internal

Very less internship opportunities are provided in college since the college mainly focus on college placements. During my year Amazon visited and some other companies also come But not many offers were made

students can sit in placemnets from 7th semester .many companies visit are college like this yr microsoft google amamzon oracle samsung and many more visited college .highest package was 1.13 cr amazon uk

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is very minimal .also there is relaxation on the basis of family income and also basis of caste like sc and obc . for general semester fees is 80000 and hostel expense is 8500 +24500 of mess charges

Techninal fest is called techniti held in november and cultural fest , which is one of the biggest fest of north india is held in march.college has a large library .classroom are well equipped .in sports college 2 basketball courst well maintained ,2 lawn tennis corts with flood lights ,2 cricket grounds ,indoor 4 badminton courts ,and many more

Admission

Since it is a NATIONAL institute ,admission is on the basis of jee main rank.for cse cutoff is around 10k for other state students .Admission process is under jossa and then later csab since it is a NIT it has 50percent state reservation .

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
