Course Curriculum Overview

All the teachers have certain experience in there field they have done there doctorate from designated institutions and such brilliant research reports they had already published and working over many. Our exams are held in every 4-5 months semester wise. I can't say about how hard are they all the concept should be done to sit in exam if we had done them it's nice paper quietly blanced with theory numerical and conceptual bases.

Fees and Financial Aid

As fees for my course is 50-60 k ( 3 year hons course) . Fees is moderate but as all student can't have hostel so living in the capital city is really expensive and books are quite expensive for science students. There are certain scholarship too that give relief in college fee if you are eligible.

Campus Life

4.5

Mostly Delhi University every college sponsors fest in february Or march. This year (2023 ) Miranda house annual fest is in March followed by many departmental fest. Miranda house library is huge and so organised , you can find any book of your course there. They try maximum of there potential to provide study material to studenta. And what I love most for visually disabled they have Braille section and specially guide and instructor for them. Classroom are well managed of department. Have projectors and fine furniture. College have archery, basketball , lawn Tennis , kho-kho and may be much more this is what I know. There are many social group run by students and college supporr them. One on them in avaya this is animal welfare society they help street animals to find shelters and provide them food this one is my favourite that why. And NSS also they help society in many possible way they can.

Admission

I took admission was based on cutoff bases. Application forms are available on official website of Delhi University. So first we register there and then when cutoff is launched we need to apply for college according to cutoff of different colleges. Yes reservation have certain benefit cutoff is slight low than general as DU have high bars . Recently DU start taking entrance test for admission this is better initiative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
