Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for choosing this course at IIT Delhi was that firstly I am interested in the textile industry and would like to pursue a career in the fashion industry after my bachelor's degree. The course curriculum is extremely exhaustive and the faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and qualified ( mostly PhDs) and are extremely cooperative with students.
Internships Opportunities
Plenty of internship opportunities are available at my college. Almost all companies are interested and offer internships for various roles. It is extremely easy to get an internship, also research internship opportunities under various professors of the institute are also available.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are pretty impressive, the highest packages by the top companies are usually offered at IIT Delhi. Almost every student having a decent cgpa lands a pretty decent job through the college's placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very economical as this is a premier institute of the nation where students are admitted solely on a merit basis. Also, there are various scholarships available that provide a considerable amount of fee waiver to the students who satisfy the requirements. Campus jobs and projects under various faculties are also available for interested students.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty much happening at IIT Delhi. There is a club or a society for every possible thing a student can think of. A lot of nonprofitable groups and clubs are also run by students which help the development and growth of society.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is extremely good and the environment in the hostel is very friendly and welcoming. It almost feels like home and the staff is also very friendly and works very efficiently for the benefit of students.
Admission
Admission to an IIT was done through JOSAA counseling in which we had to first enter all our preferred branches at our preferred institutions and then, according to our all-India rank of JEE advanced, we got allotted our branches in various rounds of the counseling.

Getting into an IIT was always my dream and hence it was my first preference . BITS was just my backup option, in case I wouldn’t have gotten admission into an IIT, I would’ve opted for BITS.
