Course Curriculum Overview

This is a 4-year course. This college offers 5 courses. I choose CS because of its scope and the fact that I like computers. The faculties are overall helpful. Most of the facilities are PhD holders. Our college has a mix of experienced and young professors

Internships Opportunities

Currently, Students go for internships at BSNL, DiT(state government org), NIELIT etc. They are mostly unpaid. Nowadays students go for online internships that are paid. But very few students get these. They interned in the role of Full Stack Developer.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, and Infosys. Wipro, HDFC, Axis Bank, Tata Steel, Capgemini, Accenture, and Cognizant hire students from here. People also prepare for GATE for attaining higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very nominal, 8080 per semester for 8 semesters. There is no hostel. Canteen facilities can be availed extra. One can apply for government scholarships on NSP, and also other state and private schemes. The institute also shares the details.

Campus Life

Every year the college hosts two major events. Tech fest in the odd semester and Cultural & Sports fest in the even semester. Every classroom is equipped with Samsung Flip (digital board) & Benq Projector. We also have a playground. Recently with the help of the state government, the Drone club has started operations on our campus.

Admission

The TBJE conducts TBJEE every year which has 3 streams PCM, PCB, and PCMB. Candidates have to give Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics papers. Based on the scores obtained in PCB & PCM they will be given chance to fill their choices for Engineering colleges and agriculture/nursing etc colleges.

All about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

Tripura Institute of Technology Agartala is a good college to get admission

I have only applied for the Diploma Engineering Program in Tripura Institute of Technology Agartala and I got admission in Diploma in Computer Science and Technology which is a 3 years course. There is no special quota for getting admission. But there is some reservation for the SC/ST candidates. As I am a General category student, I could not avail any reservation for admission. The main eligibility criteria to get admission in Diploma Engineering Program is passing the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination with 60% or above marks. The admission process is so simple. The candidates have to apply for the specific Program and a list of the selected students is out within a few days. There is no counseling for the Diploma Engineering course....Read More
