Remarks

There are two entrance exams for entry into our college: TBJEE for Vertical Entry after 12th & TITLEE for Lateral Entry after 3 Year Diploma Engineering Course. The application form is available on the institute's website at titagartala.ac.in.

Course Curriculum Overview

The institute has an adequate number of faculty members. The Institute has an intake capacity of 60 students in each branch of engineering. The exam syllabus is covered in the class itself. So, if one follows the classes regularly, the exams are easy to clear with good scores.

Internships Opportunities

Students undergo internships in their pre-final year. A minimum of 4 weeks of internship where we do many problem-solving tasks that improve our coding and designing skills. Various stipends are provided after the completion of the internships.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester itself, students become eligible for on-campus placement, though the number of students getting placed through on-campus interviews is considerably less. Many of the students go for off-campus interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this institute is very low compared to many other engineering institutes. less than 6K per semester. There are various stipend schemes available for students on the basis of merit. These include the NEC Merit Scholarship, Ishan Uday, and many other state scholarship schemes available for students.

Campus Life

The campus of this institute is really big. Students play cricket and many other outdoor sports during their off period. Every year, the Institute organizes a Tech Fest, Freshers' Week, and a Farewell Program. The library has all the books that you would need for your course.

My life at nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements in NIT Agartala are actually decent, especially for the top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical. Every year many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus. The average package is around 7–8 LPA for CSE/ECE, while core branches get slightly lower, and the highest goes up to 40+ LPA in some years. For other branches like Civil, Chemical, and Production, the placements are a bit lower, but students still manage through campus plus off-campus drives. What I like is that the placement cell is active, and we also get internship opportunities in our 3rd year which help us prepare.

First of all placement in IT sector is Good but core placement is almost no .you have to do higher studies no other options is there if off campus placement is no there. So I suggest if you have interest in biology than you please come to this field

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Tripura Institute of Technology Agartala is a good college to get admission

I have only applied for the Diploma Engineering Program in Tripura Institute of Technology Agartala and I got admission in Diploma in Computer Science and Technology which is a 3 years course. There is no special quota for getting admission. But there is some reservation for the SC/ST candidates. As I am a General category student, I could not avail any reservation for admission. The main eligibility criteria to get admission in Diploma Engineering Program is passing the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination with 60% or above marks. The admission process is so simple.
