Internships Opportunities
Cisco: Cisco was open for COE/ECE/IT. Posting: Bangalore/Chennai. It doesn't come to campus and handles its processes telephonically. They provided us with a list of projects. We had to select 3 out of them giving our preferences and write what we thought about those projects in terms of both understanding and possible implementations. Some of the topics included: Server Maintainenace, App Development, Building a Dashboard, Audio Tracking, and Lip Movement Detection. Based on what we wrote + our resumes, around 20 people were shortlisted for interviews(including me). The interview was telephonic. A lot of questions were asked, primarily on programming fundamentals. I was also asked about the 25 horses puzzle. Other questions included: Write a C code to find no files in a directory. ? To count the no of set bits? Why is a manhole covered around? About 20 minutes on my projects. In totality, the interview lasted for over an hour and I think it went remarkably well.
