Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course for the higher placement rates and my interest in software and technology. The faculty in the college is about 40 and our class has about 60 students 1st year. The teachers are well knowledgeable and teach in a great way, making difficult concepts easier to understand. There are 4 CA exams that occur in months and Semester exams, the semester exams are a bit difficult but the passing rate is higher.
Internships Opportunities
There are no fixed jobs or stipend, many companies offer their internship to eligible candidates and the job role is decided by the company. Many internship opportunities are provided in the college. No, I don't have any idea about the projects as I am yet to get an internship.
Placement Experience
From 6 Semester the students get internship opportunities and from 7th semester they are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visited are TCS, Wipro, Byjus, Mindtree, Saaf, and Infosys. They offer different placement packages the highest was about 18 LPA and the average was 6 LPA. About 80% of students get placed easily. My Aim is to get a job in a well-reputed company with a good package and earn great work experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are manageable and we don't have to buy any books from outside we get our semester books from the book bank. And most of the students don't need any extra tuition. And in the case of scholarships, there are Oasis, Kanyasree, and NSP but they are only available to students whose family annual income is below 2 Lac, some are for girls only and some are for SC/ST.
Campus Life
The annual fest is held in the month of May-June and Tech fest is also organized in the month of August. There are about 60k different kinds of books av liable in the library we have an online digital library that has tons of research journals and video lectures. etc A normal classroom only with a camera and the seats are bigger and more spacious to accommodate more than 100 students. There is a basketball court, volleyball, and football ground. And indoor games are also available. Extracurricular activities like Dancing, singing, portrait, chess, and quiz competitions occur in our college.
Admission
I took the west bengal joint entrance examination WBJEE and scored about 19k rank then I chose the colleges in counselling and then I got a seat at Abacus Institute of Engineering and Management, the cut-off was 27k so I got in easily. I had to pay 5,000 to get the provisional letter from wbjee and sign the no upgradation then checked and verified all my submitted documents and I paid the admission fee of about 56k for semester 1. No, I didn't get any reservation benefits.
