Remarks

I took my admission to my college in the branch of Chemical Engineering by the WBJEE exam in 2021. My rank was 20 k. After the selection, I went to college and took my seat for 5000 rupees and I find the application fees and form in my college office.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course B-tech in Chemical Engineering. I choose this course because I love the chemistry subject and I want to go ahead in this section. Also, another reason is that the stream is very popular in our college and almost every student got placement from our collage.

Class Size: 600Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The opportunity for the internship is available in our college. The students from the second, and a third years went every year to the nearest company like HPL, or IOCL for an internship. Also, our institute provides institutional internships.

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is very favorable. The students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. Many core and non-core companies come to hire students. The highest package of our college is 42 lacks per annum and the average package is 3.5 lacks per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

About the fee structure of our college, I want to say that it is a little bit high for me. The tuition fee per sem is almost 50k. And the hostel fee is 2000 rupees per month only for living and the other charge need for food.

Campus Life

I want to tell you that our college campus is very beautiful and every time maintained. Our college campus is very large about 35 acres. The classroom is well maintained and appreciated for studying well. It consists of digital screens as well as a speaker and projector.

Hostel Facilities

If i am talking about the hostel ,there will three hostel for 1st year student outside the college campus. And inside the college there will two hostel for 2nd year boys and girls , another two hostel for 3rd year boys and girls and another two hostels for 4th year boys and girls. And there will seperate hostel for outsider students

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
