Course Curriculum Overview
As per the branch the course varies for each branch and each branch is having course realted to their study that makes them ready for their placement. Exams are notso hard not so easy its moderate just we need to focus on our study.
Internships Opportunities
Interships opportunites are provided to students in 5th semester and above . Companires like vison, tcs and some other gives intership. Projects can create a good opportunity for gertting stppend intership also .
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester students are elligible for placement and they also get high pakages . Companies like camgemini , cognizent , tcs , infosysis, Tech mahindra,viston,HPL often come for placement. Students more than 80 npercent are getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for 4 year Btech degree is around 5,82,000 rupees without hostel and other facilittes. It will include tution fees,library,gym,and some of the few facilities. Yearly fees is around 1,40,000 rupees. Although fees is not so high.
Campus Life
Its campus size is vey big arund 30 acres and it provodes a nice campus life. It has a big library with almost all types of books available. Classrooms have smart board and Air conditioner for better quality education and comfort.
Hostel Facilities
Therev are several hostels for both girls and boys seperated. hostel rooms may be 3 student room or 4 or sometime 2 also it depends on the hostel. Hostel have mess which provide food to hostel students. It provides feee wifi and 24/7 light connction.
Admission
In comparision with other private colleges in West Bengal, Haldia Institue Of Technology is the oldest and most popular private college having the bigger campus area and placement opportunites than others. Its fees is also not so highcompared to othrers. For admmission the canditate has to appear in the WBJEE exam and get a good rank also canditates having JEErank card can apply in it.
Faculty
Faculty memebers are ery well qualified from different nits and iits. They have many skills and they shre these skills with us that help us to make us ready for placement. Faculty to student ratio is also good . About 20 students to 1 faculty is provided. We are having 1 main exam and 3 internals in each semister . Exam copies are checked in a very protective way.
Night Life
Library re open for around 8-9 pm in regular days . Hostel gates are closed after 8 pm for the security of students. the places to enjoy is Riverside which gives you a lovely vibe and City centre mall where you can go and enjoy watch movies here or do shopping.
