Fees and Financial Aid:

I have completed my B.Tech from Haldia Institute of Technology. My semester wise fees were Rs 40000 for 1st sem and then 44000, 46100, 45100, 47200, 46200, 48300 and 47300 respectively to 8th sem. I received scholarship from DRCC(Bihar Govt) which covered my fees from 2nd sem to 8th sem. Currently, the college fees have increased compared to my admission time.

Year wise fees are not to high in my case it was 110000 per year but it may vary for every year. Tution fees are ok studens are paying near about 52000 to 68000 per semester depending upon the admission year. Hostels are aloted at a fixed free of 12000 per semester.every year the prices should high.

Haldia institute of technology through my eyes, a third year student.

As of now, I've been paying around 60,000 per semester. Some semesters it's a little less and in the others a little more. I'm staying in college hostel only and I think it's pretty affordable. It's around 12,000 per semester. I'm from general category and also didn't apply for any kind of loan so this was the fee structure in my case.

* Year wise fees will be 62,000 times (2-sem). as per yr 23-24 * tuition fee is around 60k and rest comes under library and misc. fees. *caution money is 5000. *for TFW i.e. tuition fee waivier students fee comes down to half. *Students can opt for DRCC from their respective states as well.

Haldia Institute of Technology : An Overview

The total fees is around 360000. And the fees is paid semester wise which is around 50-55k. So the year wise fees is around 110-130k depending on semester. I didn't get any scholarship from college. However if you are a Bengal domicile student and from economical weaker section of society , you will get Swami Vivekanand Scholarship which is around 60 k per year.

Fees is increasing Day by Day ,college Management just increase their fee structure for their infrastructure, they do not spend more on Education and teaching methods. The complete costs of Education is about 5 lakhs for 2020-2024 batch but they have been increasing per Semester fee by 5000.
