Admission process- Every year NTA conducts jee exams for severel colleges , you can opt this by scoring a decent marks.A score from 88 to 93 percentile is enough for ECE courses. Or if you are from northeastern states you can directly apply after your class 12th examination. Every year in the month of December NTA release notification of jee exams and conducts exams in January and April.They will allot you seats through josaa counselling It has 60% reservation for Northeastern states and rest seats are for rest of the students outside of Northeast states.

I have a great interest in semiconductor and their application, and this college has 262 acres of lush green campus so I opted for this for better opportunity.Also University had a very good student faculty ratio of 6:1 which helps students to easily clear their doubts and provide personal assistance. Most of the professors had completed their p.h.d. from IITs and foreign Universities. That's why they had a graet knowledge of the curriculum and syllabus and teach us with great interest. They also conduct one lab of each subject every week so we can also understand the practical knowledge of the course. There are exams conducted in every 45 days to regularly monitor the performance of the students.

A good internships are offered to the students of the college like IVIA offered a good stipend for backend developer,Numaligarh refinary limited, North frontier railway and IOCL offers a good stipends.

More then 300+ companies which are coming here for placements. Like Wipro ,ITC Patanjali and TECH Mahindra ,Amdani adani etc. visits every year. Highest pakeges for CSE is 37.5Lpa and same goes for the other branches. In every department 5-6 students are offered 9-10 lpa and rest goes in between 4-6 lpa. 70- 80% students are placed Evey year in several good companies. I will try to participate in gate exam to crack IIT for my future M.Tech studies.Many students also do M.tech from this university also.

For the B.tech. courses the fees are 54000 INR per year which also includes the hostel charges. Only you had to pay extra 1500-2600 Rs for the mess facilities. Due to being a central university if you had a good marks in 10th and 12th you can avail scholarship on the the national scholarship portal for the different scholarship schemes launched by the central government. Students of Northeastern states also get extra scholarships for study. Campus placement are good for core branches like CSE and ECE ,other had an average rate.The average packages and rates are stated below CSE-5.9LPA and 90% ECE-4.9 LPA and 80% EE- 4-5 LPA and 40% CIVIL- 4.2LPA and 60% Mechanical- 4.3 LPA and 35%

There are firstly 11 day induction programme for newcomers and then conducts severals side activities like,you can join NCC and NSS from which you can serve nation. Also a annual fest is conducted in December. Every year a convocation program is conducted in the campus for the passed out candidates.There is a huge library in our campus which has a great feature where you can issue a book using a card like withdrawal of cash from atm. A large amount books are available in library. If any book you want to suggest library you can do so.There is also a big football ground ,Cricket ground, Basketball court, Badminton courts , Volleyball courts, Tennis courts, and Table tennis is also available.In the weekdays inter hostel and inter department tournaments are conducted by the sport coaches. There is also facilitates of art and craft and for singing and dancing many ceremonies are organised. Every month one quiz competition is organised and winners are awarded cash prizes.

In the hostel rooms a single bed is provided to you with 2 mobile charging points just next to your bed is given. Hostel also contains a canteen where you can buy things at cheap rates. Floors are cleaned 2-3 times everyday. Washrooms are always neat and clean. Meal of the hostel is clean and cooked our food hygenically. Both veg and non-veg foods are provide with dal and rice. Non veg contains chicken, fish and eggs. Veg foods contains panners , rajma , and several green vegetables . Hostel accomodation registration started at the time of the admission process. Hostel cherges are very very low i.e 4000Rs/year. And extra mess charge 1500-2600 per month.
