Remarks

The infrastructure need s a bit of improvement . There is improvement happening gradually. Looks promising for the future students.

Entrance Preview

CET was written after PUC. Got a ranking and during counselling JSS was offered . After 2 rounds had different choices, eventually selected JSSATE my preferred choice of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Common subjects are taught in the first 4 sems of the graduate programme. Each core term comprises a full-time course load of 4-5 subjects. The core courses taught at JSS include the basics of finance, strategy, marketing, operations and IT management. These courses are taught by outstanding resident faculty.

Internships Opportunities

No Internship is provided by college as far as i know . I wouldn't be able to give my thoughts on it .

Placement Experience

2.5

JSS has had an enviable placement record in the last few years. It has facilitated dramatic careers shifts, initiated the trend of lateral placements in India, and secured leadership positions for women - essentially raising the benchmark .It offers complete placement for all deserving students. The last placement season witnessed 30% offers from the consulting sector followed by 28% from technology. These offers were made through a broad spectrum of roles in Technology Consulting

College Events

1

JSS will present its ANNUAL Fest Verve usually in Around May. The concert is given by over 120 student performers including members of the FILM fraternity , as well as student instrumentalists and student narrators. Programs will include choral works, readings, and traditional dances for audience and choirs; the performance will be concluded by a fashion show.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is OK i guess considering the various other colleges. 1 Admission Fee – non refundable 2 Tuition Fees 3 One-time fee for Alumni for use of JSS Library & Recreation Centre These are the few components and these are standard across the different courses .

Fees and Financial Aid

JSS does support deserving candidates with limited financial resources, JSS awards several tuition fee waivers. These waivers vary in amount from anything to full tuition fee and are disbursed either on merit or need-based criteria. These scholarships are awarded to candidates during admission or after enrollment

Campus Life

5

At the JSSATE, students have participated in several inter college and B-school events and brought laurels to the college . Having excelled at several business plan competitions, students have brought merit at both national and international levels. There is the primary team for coordinating and managing student activities and initiatives, both academic and extracurricular

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I was not availing nor staying in hostels so i would not be able to answer this question . Jssate has two state-of-the-art hostels. They believe that the environment plays a crucial role in enhancing your learning experience. Each hostel can accommodate 130 to 210 students in a mix of bedroom rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful . The jssate encourages diversity and welcomes students from all backgrounds. The average work experience of the class is five years; however the individual work experience can vary from two to three years

Exam Structure

Students participating in this program are required to prepare a consulting proposal for the client (scope of work, timeline etc.), make the necessary primary/secondary research and prepare a final report and present findings with recommendations to the client. Many companies also use this programme as their pre-recruitment exercise.

Admission

1. After taking the admit card from CET cell , went to the college . 2. The admissions counter is at the entrance . 3. Asked for directions so was lead to the counter to pick up a challan. 4. Filled the Callahan and went to the bank . 5. Paid the CET fees and submitted the challan. 6. Filled few forms and paid for transportation

Faculty

4.5

JSSATE annually provides good classrooms, department labs, they include helping HOD's , Department Heads, and groups of faculty to systematically collect, review, and use information to iteratively improve student learning and overall program effectiveness.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.
