Remarks

No entrance exam was taken. The total fee was 3,30,000 for 3 years including admission. I want the teachers to speak English or Hindi because they use the local language (Bengali) which I don't understand because I m not local.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted this course because I think I will have many options in the future after this. There are 62 students in my batch. Some of the teachers are good while some are average. But they speak in local languages so it is hard for our sixer students to understand. No entrance exam was taken. Otherwise, they teach well. they also take exams on time and also sem-wise. The checking of exams here is a little strict.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is overall okay not too high not too low in comparison to other colleges it is good. I didn't get any scholarships till now. But they had promised us to give internship jobs of 4500 in the last year.

Campus Life

We didn't have a campus. It is really little and there are sports also available in the college for the students who want to play games. The college showed us a campus but we have got just a building which doesn't even have a canteen and no area to sit Yes, the course books are available in the library.

yes. this college provides very good placements. from 5th semester they started to provide campasings. companies like tcs, infosys, birla, itc, amazon, etc students are required to average 7 dgpa to sit in placements

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

Placement Experience:

- Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the 5th semester. - Around 65% of students get placed during campus interviews. - The highest package offered to the BBA students is INR 4 LPA. The average package offered to the students is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. - The top recruiters who visit the companies are Accenture, EY (Ernst & Young), Wipro Technologies LtdHDFC Bank Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Amazon.com Inc, Concentrix Corporation, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. - But still, improvement in place of recruitment is highly recommended. - I want to pursue MBA after and want to commit to the business.

Positive remarks about college, they specifically take care of everyone they call at home if any student is irregular or not serious about his/her study. So everyone attends classes and lectures a minimum of 75% and teachers motivate students for their all-over growth and performance.

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
