CUSAT is a heaven

First, one needs to clear the CAT exam conducted by CUSAT to stand a chance to get admission here. I got a rank of 3012 and got admission to Information technology here. They will inform us about the admission procedures through the website or mobile. The application form for the exam is completely online. The admission procedures were very easy, one should carry all the necessary documents mentioned.

Information technology is a growing branch with a lot of placements on this campus. Last year, we acquired a 100% placement for all eligible students. Termly exams are very timely conducted and difficulty is moderate.

Students become eligible for placements from semester 7 and a lot of companies visit here. It has a naac accreditation of A+. Big giants like Cisco and Hexaware visited here. The highest package is offered by Cisco of 20 Lpa.100%placements are bagged by students who were eligible.

Fees are hiked after 5 or 6 years. Generally, the admissions are of two types -state merit and Central merit. For state merit, the fees are currently around 26,000 and for central merits, the fees are around 46,000.E- Grantz is a scholarship easily available for students here. Also, Merit scholarships are there. There are not many job opportunities on campus.

The annual arts fest is called Sargam and the tech fest, one of Kerala's biggest tech fest, is known as Dishna. Tech fest is usually conducted between February and march. while Sargam is conducted in January's first week. University library available here is a heaven of books. So many facilities including wifi,ac, and late-night study halls. Classrooms are well equipped with modern teaching technologies like projectors, led TVs, etc. Our college has a lot of sports facilities and it supports all kinds of sports. The amenity center here has a table tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, and much more. Mind empowered is a social group that is run by students with their mentor Maya Menon.
