Remarks
Eligibility for the course is bypassing keam entrance examination. To get admission to sree chitra thirunal college is a little tough you need to get a rank under 5000 to get a computer science engineering merit seat. management seat is available till 8000 ranks. the application form will be available on the Kerala entrance commission website all the different categories get reservations like MU BH OBC categories. there is a seat available through the NRE quota. there is no need for improvement in the admission process because admission through keam is easy but the rank cut-off is too high for CSE.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science engineering because I had a good rank and I had good marks in my school. the faculty-student ratio is good in the college and there are good teachers. teachers are very good they supply us with every study material we need and they help us in every part of academics. the internal examinations of the college are very tough we cannot finish them by studying at night.
Placement Experience
from the seventh semester we get placement and get work after college there are many companies for computer science students TCS and Infosys are famous companies in the college the highest package was 11lacs per year and the lowest was nearly 3 thousand. the percentage of students who get placed is 85 percent I plan to take Mtech after BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure is acceptable because being a government control self financed college. the fee for state merit is 36000 per year and for management seats 68000 per year and for nre seats the fee I around 1lac per year. many students get egrantz scholarships. there is a university scholarship named fee waiver scholarship which waves the tuition fees the students with higher rank is eligible for this scholorship.
Campus Life
Books are available in the library there are many books in the library. the library is good and there are many books inside the college there are department-wise sections inside the library there are many books regarding gate examination preparations. the classroom is well-lightened and has good ventilation with smart class available. sct is good at sports but there are fewer facilities there is a basket ball and badminton ground but there is no football ground. the college is very active in national social clubs and promotes social activities.
