Remarks

First of all, for admission to this wonderful college in MBBS course, u have to give an entrance exam called NEET, which is one of the most competitive exams in India. After clearing that exam, u will have to secure good AIR. In this college admission is done via two major quotas namely AQI(ALL India quota) -15% (Delhi quota) -85%, among these two quotas further OBC, SC, ST, and PH quota is present. UR students must have 60% and obc, SC, and st must have 50% in the 12th boards. Since VMMC is under IP but its counseling is done under central College so u don't need to fill IP form for it, after neet along with AQI counseling will also be done. Delhi quota students have way too many benefits as they need fewer marks than students who take admissions here via ALL INDIA QUOTA. The cut-off for SC, and ST goes too low for the Delhi quota. In the admission process, the college helps too much. The administration department of this college is best. they are too cooperative, so no improvement is needed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mbbs is my dream, and this college makes it more interesting. This course will give u both name and fame. The satisfaction after saving someone's life is beyond expectation, and it's difficult so challenges me more and I like to face challenges. Every department has professors, associate professors, senior residents, and postgraduate students, the ratio of faculty students is quite good, and all the faculties are always ready to help and support U in any situation. Every faculty is highly qualified, even though some of them hold more than 5-6 degrees, and every professor has more than 10 yrs of teaching experience, and that too in a prestigious organization. I'm blessed to have such an awesome faculty. MBBS and exams a never-ending love story, Nearly at an interval every 3 months, we have an exam, and they are really tough. Viva after every unit, competency, small group discussions, self-directed learning, stage vivas, spotting exams. But these exams are a must if u want to become better.

Internships Opportunities

4

First of all, let me tell U, we have SAFDARAJANG HOSPITAL associated with our college which means we get to have the experience of working in the LARGEST OPD in Asia. The patient load is tremendous that is daily 8-9k. So, after 4.5 years, our internship starts which pays monthly 26k, and it keeps on increasing every year (hope so). Postgraduates also have ample opportunity to work here Ug students can go into research programs that pay well. Any hospital will pick u up if they come to know that u have completed your graduation or post-graduation or senior resident ship from Safdarjung hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

It comes under IP university, but this is a centrally funded college. So, we are studying subsidized seats, so we have fewer fees In first year, we have paid 44k (38k tuition fees + 6k miscellaneous charges). If u opt for a hostel u have to pay 6k annually (500 per month) here the mess has a canteen system which means pay what u take, we have got a good mess. College fee never hikes unnecessarily I haven't listened to any kind of this situation. College, in particular, doesn't have scholarship schemes but the university has, once U get into college nodal officer for the scholarship will let U know abt the scholarship program, apart from that few teachers run NGOs, that help financially weak students. This college has a great name in research, its students opt for the STS-ICMR program it is a research program, and if it is approved at the end of its student gets 50k for his work. Striped after 4.5 yrs is 26k.

Campus Life

4.5

Life here is like dream come true. U get to live ur life to the fullest. Fests, sports, club, and greenery on campus is too good. An annual fest named NIRVANA is organized every year, and it's one of the largest in India. It generally takes place between September to December; it is of 4 days and nights. Central Library is the best thing in our college, full of space, silence, and highly qualified and supportive library staff. Fully updated stock of books and journals. Classrooms are fully AC, with cushions on seats which makes them comfortable. Though we have fewer spaces sports buzz finds their places as the college funds them. Drama, singing, literature & fashion society keeps on performing in different fests, our cricket team is highly active. U can follow all the pages of these societies on insta.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
