Nitj cse review

Admission to my college is totally based on your performance in the Joint entrance examination (JEE) mains. You have to give jee mains and get a decent rank for computer science and engineering. The cutoff for cse other states is approx 8500 in the general category.

I have chosen Computers and it is the best course in my institute, there are 160 students in my batch but we are divided into two sections of 80 students for a better faculty-student ratio. All the faculty, even guest faculty are Ph.D. in their fields. They teach using presentations and there are labs and tut for some subjects. In each semester there are 2 minor exams and one end sem exam.

2 monthly Internship is not very good and a few companies visit here average stipend is approx 50k per month. Amazon, axis bank, intuit, Samsung, and some other companies came for web development and side role.

You can do an internship in mid-term breaks and a full-time internship from the 4th year and can sit in placements from starting of the 4th year. Placements here are decent, for The average package is 13lpa and almost every student is placed. The highest on-campus placement is 44lpa. More than 50 companies visit. My plan after my degree is to work for some mnc.

The fee structure is decent, for general category scholarship is based on income criteria. If the family income is less than 5 lakhs the tuition fee is nearly 20k per semester and below 1lpa tuition fee is nil. For SC St students tuition fee is Nil. Campus jobs are for MTech students only.

Campus life is good there are many clubs in our college of which you can be a part. There is 2 annual fest that is conducted on a huge scale they are uttkansh and techniti. All kinds of books are available physically in the library and virtually on the website. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, ac. There are basketball courts, volleyball courts, football grounds, cricket grounds, lawn tennis grounds, and indoor games also. Kalakar, Rtist, bawre, bhangra club, movie club, Netra, DSC, etc are some clubs of NITJ.
