Remarks

The course is eligible for all students who have passed class 12 examinations. The admission procedure now takes place through cuet entrance test. Prior to this students were allocated colleges based on their class 12 percentages.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chemistry was my favorite subject among all the science subjects so I decided to go for graduation in this subject. The faculty-to-student ratio in Miranda house is 70:1. The teachers are really good and the college provides enough internships for the students to get an edge in their subject.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus placements are good but most students from the science courses opt for either government entrances or go for further studies! The students of chemistry are usually placed in pharma companies that offer a good amount of money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Du is known for its fewer fees. The only expenditure required to be made on the student's end is accommodation. There are numerous state and central government scholarships that the students can apply for, to get a deduction in the fees or get money directly to their bank accounts eg inspire scholarship.

Campus Life

I was from a coeducational school so initially, I thought life at Miranda would be monotonous and boring! But honestly, the college gives it all! The annual fest of Miranda is a tempest that is one of the biggest fests in the entire du circuit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is no extra curriculum activities in my college which I disliked about my colleges and they don't even organise a normal events for students , teacher can be more supportive and teachers can be provide lots of information. They did not provide anything in any information about teachers, teachers. Teachers can be more better. The facilities can be more explain more more and more. They don't take things seriously they just they just provide their notes through online classes and ask them without clearing sections are not not up to the mark and things are not good in the college.

So I chose PCB after 10th and wanted to explore interesting courses. Food technology really made me interested since then and I was eager to be enrolled in this course after collecting all the information about it. The course has a vast scope. Lady Irwin has an amazing faculty too. The teachers here are quite cooperative and their teaching methods makes the subjects interesting to study. The teachers are well qualified from top institutions like BHU, CFTRI etc.

I applied for other north campus colleges of delhi university . This college was my 3rd preferance college wise . For taking admission in colleges of central university a centralised exam takes place called CUET UG . I scored decent marks which landed me this college . if i could have scored more i might have gotten others but this college has the most multidisciplinary combinations for ba students as compared to others so i knew beforehand that i was going to get this one only . Miranda House has one the best campus in DU. It is the topmost college of Delhi University.The infrastructure according to me in the entire north campus Miranda House has best infrastructure.
