Remarks
At my time there was no entrance exam for the admissions. It was based on the class 12th percentage but this year the University of Delhi has started the entrance exam for admissions in various under-graduation and post-graduation courses. Application forms and dates can be checked from Delhi University's official website. I have availed new reservation. There is a particular number of seats reserved for this category. The admission procedure that University has started now is perfectly well and good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course due to my interest in these subjects. The teachers here in the college are very talented good and well educated. The way they teach is very good. They take regular classes and try to provide students with extracurricular knowledge also. They do their best to make students knowledgeable. The exams are semester based and it's not much difficult to pass exams if we have studied seriously for the whole semester.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are not too good in college. Most of the internships are not paid internships. There are very few companies that offer an internship. The students find an internship on their own and the college doesn't provide many internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
The placements are also very good in the college. The students of the 5th semester became eligible for placements. The companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, etc. visit the colleges to give placements to students. The highest package is about 18 lakhs per year. About 60 percent of students got placement every year. I will not try for placements as I am preparing for civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were not much high till last year but this year there is a huge hike in the fee structure. Scholarship opportunities are not much here in the college. There are a few categories that receive scholarships like majority castes, etc. I haven't got any scholarship yet.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good in this College. The fests are organized on the regular basis. Different societies are working in the colleges which organize various fests throughout the year. The libraries have huge and rich collections of books. The classrooms are also very good. There are ACs and fans installed in classrooms. Sports activities are also organized in college on regular basis. There are different grounds for different sports like volleyball, football, cricket, basketball, etc. There are various social groups run by students like ABVP, NFS, NSUI, DUSU, etc.
