Remarks
Eligibility - minimum passing marks in 12th in all subjects. If you're not from arts then a deduction of 2.5% was levied and the other 2.5% was for physical education in counting the final aggregate percentage. Now admissions are based on the DUET exam scores. application- Forms available on du.ac.in Dates- From August to September Application fee- 250 for GENERAL Category and 100 for SC/ST/OBC Suggestion-The admission procedure must be accompanied by a mentor from the university because the phone numbers given for help are always switched off. Thus, a helpdesk should be provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it gives me ample opportunities to explore a wide range of careers also it is my subject of interest. The faculty-student ratio is slightly lagging. About 40 percent of teachers are guest teachers which changes every year. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching methods are a bit traditional. Exams are held timely and can be passed easily
Internships Opportunities
Majorly small businesses come with some of the big companies as Flipkart do approach internships. A job Mela is organized for such opportunities. College doesn't have its placement cell but University's cell works in the college. I haven't participated in any of the internship programmes.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is very affordable An annual fee of 13000 and approx 1500 exam fee is taken. Scholarships from Universities to meritorious students are given and also internships in local businesses are provided
Campus Life
Shraddha Tarang is the annual fest organized on a large scale and is famous all over du. The library is highly enriched with all sorts of books Classrooms are provided with projectors though maintenance is not done on time The Cricket, Football, and Kabbadi team of the college is successful throughout the university. Many societies are run by students such as drama society, art and creative writing society, commerce, fashion, etc.
