You should score above 70% in 12 PCM, the application form will be available on the college website, about fees, they are available for up to two months There is a reservation for girls and Jain. They should take the test offline and interview also offline.

This course has all practical study where u can work on a ship which is travelling all over the world faculty are very good 80% of the faculty have sailing experience and all are experts in teaching and we have every year two-semester.

Students are eligible from the second year for placement and companies are visited like BSM, Maersk tankers, BW, chevron, Maersk line, TK tankers etc the highest package is 15000 and the lowest package is 9000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am placed in a BSM shipping company on an LNG ship and after I have completed my studies I have to do an internship and but there is a waiting period and I get a 13000 stipend because it is an LNG ship, In a container ship we get 10000.

There is a fest Transtech TMI where every year all students make different types of machines and every month we have sports leagues like football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, Lawn Tennis, and Basketball.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students. Admission process is little bit complicated tho we have to give IMU cet, TMI SAT and TMI interview after clearing all three we have to clear medical then only we get Admissions and its must to have more then 60 percent in 10th and 12th....Read More
