Remarks

The eligibility of the course is class 12 with nonmedical with 75%. The application form is provided on tolani.edu website. The application fee is around 1200. There are no reservations. For improvement in the admission process and the application form, you need to practice tmisat.

Course Curriculum Overview

To become a marine engineer you need to graduate with BTech in marine engineering ratio will be 150/1500. All the faculty are retired, chief engineers or chief officers. There are two class tests and one end-semester exam in one semester. The exams are difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is provided by many companies like BSM, and Maersk tankers. College also provides internship facilities. It has a demo ship on the campus. In the last semester, all cadets get the opportunity for an internship.

Placement Experience

From 3 semesters students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visited for eg Maersk line, Teekay tankers, BW shipping, torm tankers, and mol tankers. Almost 90% of students get placed after the completion of their degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships provided by the college which are based on rank and also when the student has taken a financial loan. The college gives you only when you are eligible and scored well in end-semester exams.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Nautica and it is held in October every year. You can access any book in the library. There are many kinds of books. Almost all types of sports activities is there on our campus from indoor to outdoor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

TMI the best college

I just applied for this college and I guess its much more better than other colleges due to high placement rate better campus environment and reviews from other ex students.
