Remarks

I have applied for this college because I got admission via government allotment. The selection process of the college was easy as it was the basis of the exam and due to this, it was very easy. The ranking of this college is high in Trivandrum

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 3 types of admission categories. Government, Management, and NRI. We will get admission to the government based on our 12th-class marks. If we have fewer marks in 12th then we can apply via Management or via NRI. Some teachers are good

Internships Opportunities

Our college has a tie-up with big multinational companies where we can do our internship. We need minimum eligibility for applying for the internship. We need to do a compulsory internship during our academic life.

Placement Experience

Many Multinational companies come to our college for placement like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Accubits, In-app, and Quest Global. These companies provide good packages and our college also helps us to get placed in these companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are 1.2 lakh per year. If we are govt allowed students then we will get a scholarship with the help of government aid. They also take a security deposit initially which they return after we get passed out of college.

Campus Life

Our college conducts inter-college festivals once in 2 years. Then we get a school trip during the start of semester 5. We have sports day which happens every year. Arts day is all; so there. Then we get different opportunities

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility of our college is good. We get all the required facilities for our purpose. We get food from the hostel. If required we can go and eat from the canteen too. The washroom is pretty good unlike what we used to imagine

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
