Remarks

During my admission time only charge a total of 16,500 rupees. And it includes college fees, PTA funds, and bus fees also. Admission is based on the keam exam. There is no reservation seat in a government college. Admission is based on keam rank.5 courses are available. And the course is opted based on keam rank. application has opted from google. There is no extra money paid for admission. And opt for 13,000rupees refunded in the first year. Personally, there is no improvement taken in the admission process. Because it occurs nice manner.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I study BTech in chemical engineering at KTU university. Chemical engineering is a rare course and a great opportunity to get high payment and satisfying jobs. In my classroom, 62 students and faculty have 2 staff advisers and the other 15 teachers exclude HOD. Most of the teachers opt for the doctorate in IIT madras and a few assistant professors are graduates of Government colleges. Talking about faculty they are very talented teachers and help students to understand the topic well and friendly behavior etc. Our HOD is mostly a special person because she considered us as if we are her kids. And they give study materials and upload, which helps students to study the topic easily. they prepare their own notes not copy other notes. So we have a very satisfying faculty and they try maximum to reach a better future. Our exams occur on a semester basis. That is 6 months. In each semester we have 2 series of exams. average of these exams considers an internal mark. The total mark for the university exam is 150 And the pass mark is 75.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Our colleges do not offer internships. Actually, we are searching for internship available companies and asking teachers for permission. Because we couldn't get attendance during internship time. College is very disappointed in internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Mainly placement starting in the 4th year. Placement companies are mostly in the IT field. So we couldn't get jobs in core companies. only 30% of students are placed in college. Their test was very difficult. I planned to continue higher study after BTech.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid each semester's fees below 10,000. Only we have to pay exam fees not require college fees. And another fee is revaluation fees and supplementary fees. Mostly in our college students paid revaluation fees. Because the marking system is very poor compare to other colleges. We didn't get the desired mark, so we couldn't entire placement session. Most companies want zero supply of students. they do not consider the supply of students. That is the most disadvantage of placement sessions in our college. And mostly available scholarships and Egrantzand other Muslim scholarships. But we couldn't get scholarship money right time.

Campus Life

4.5

In one four there are 4 fests are available. That is malhar(arts fest),lakshy(tech fest),freshers day, sports day. sports days rarely occur in college. And Nss camp occurred year. College does not consider sports that are a disadvantage of college.

Other Applied Colleges

Government engineering college sreekrishnapuram | Btech in Electrical&electronics

Because i prefer chemical engineering .So i choose chemical engineering course available college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
