Remarks

Eligibility is 12th with 50% The application fee is On the college website The admission process is good. But I want some improvement that is 1. Direct contact from the registrar for admission. 2. Admission bona fide should be sent by email to newly admitted students. 3. Online and offline both facility should be available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of technology in computer science branch is very demanding all over the world. Faculties are available in large ratios with respect to students. All faculties are professors containing Btech and PhD degrees. Semester exam of 6 month Passing the exam is depend upon the labour of students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees policy is very good. College also comes under Bihar Student Credit card and PMS. College fee is very good anyone can afford them. A scholarship is also available in this college that is dependent on 12th marks. Good placement record.

Campus Life

The fest which they conducted in college is Holi festival, farewell party, Fresher party, DJ nights etc. All syllabus books are available in the library as well as journal dairies. There are 60 students in each classroom. Cricket tournaments, Basketball matches coding marathons etc are organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak.That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
