Course Curriculum Overview

4

I researched about my course which is B.Tech ECE, I was very much fascinated about the thing that after completing it i can sit in both hardware type of companies placements and software type of company placements. It prepares me well for the outer world. After 1 or 1. 5 month 1 mid semester is taken and after one other mid semester. So frequency and timing is good.

Internships Opportunities

4

People can get intership after their 1st year also and can get a experience of corporate life. Their is hackathon in which their is a cash price where students can compete by creating something different or needfull project to win.

Placement Experience

3

After completing the course student is eligible for campus placements. Tech companies likeTCS and other comes to college average package through campus placement is appprox 4 to 6 lakhs and off campus students have gone to good companies like microsoft with a package of 58 lakhs. In my branch which is ECE their is 100% placements hence their are only 30 seats. I will try to take a job after i complete my degree and the scale myself up in experience then i may start a startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college thats why i opt for it personally because its fee structure can be afforded by any middle class of lower middle class because there are some scholarships also. Like without any scholarship it is very economical. Without scholarship a student can pursue Btech(cse) or any branch under 4 lakhs, and i am not kidding. But thats not all it also have cmss MIMIT Scholarship PMSSS and their is upto 90 percent discount on fee according to the marks in the 12 boards. For SC ST their is PMSSS which provides them 90% scholarship, some of friends are pursuing with me. They just have to pay the least amount which 5000 and some other expenses which is not much of course. It is very much economical for any student. It is the best option for people who are looking for affordable colleges. It also have MBA so for future purposes you dont have to move to any other colleges. It is very much affordable and management is so smooth here, you will not regret it.

Campus Life

4

Their are sports meet, athletics fest Dance fest and some cultural fests also which is quite good for such an affordable college, you will also get freshers party after getting admission. You dont have to purchase books for your curriculum, you can take it from library in every semester. Infrastructure is good hostels are good even though i didnt opt for it.

Admission

I got a confirmed admission from GNIT Kolkata hence i cracked Wbjee. It was a bit expensive then this college thats why i opt for this and it was a good decision. The admission process is you can also get through here by JEE score or direct admission

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is very much good. Like their is not shortage of teachers. Faculty to student relationship is also so good, you can reach your faculty just by calling them or you can meet them on their office. I generally like all of them but i personally liked more the faculty of english he mentors in a very excellent way. Their is a not a name of a faculty that i dont like. Their are two midsemester exams which can be pretty easy if you just attend class properly and listen to the faculty's and study in a mannered way and then in final a written and viva. My course is so much relevant.

Interview Experience

3

No their was no GD or written test to take admission in this college, You can take admission direct or by your JEE score. Their are so msny scholarship like CMSS PMSSS and their is a discount in scholarship according to the board score

Night Life

4

Their is jiomart, barista, lapinoz, burger bites and a cine plex in a short distance from college. Their is gym in college hostel also but their are pretty good gym around the college. Hostel for boys is they roam upto 9 or 10 and come back to hostels but for girls their is a two day outing in a week and they have to come before 7'o clock into hostel.

Other Applied Colleges

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - [GNIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

I didn't opt for it because it was semi private and it was expensive than "MIMIT Malout".

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
