Down the college lane

Anyone who has completed the 2nd PUC in Science is eligible for this course. One has to take up CET or COMED-K entrance exams to get in. Otherwise, there are management seats, which are to be obtained by on-face communication in the admission department. As per the CET norms, reservation is available. Yes, admission needs little improvement.

Since the college was affiliated with VTU and was working as a non-autonomous body, the exams were conducted as per VTU norms. All the questions were up to the standard. Exams were conducted semester-wise.

After the completion of the 6th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. There might have been a total of 50 to 80 companies and most of them were IT companies. The highest package was 10 LPA by Byjus and the lowest was 2 LPA. Students were not given knowledge about Higher studies. Core companies were not invited or they didn't come. The college needs lots of improvement in Placement.

Once joined the college, there will not be any hike in the fees for that particular batch. It might change batch-wise. The cost to study varies based on the seat obtained. For SNQ, the total 4 years cost would be 1.5 to 2 Lakhs. For, normal CET quota, up to 4Lakhs. For Comedk and Management 5 to 6 Lakhs. Yes, E pass scholarship and chairmanship Scholarships were given. Job opportunities and placements are comparatively less. The average salary is just 4 LPA.

There is only one Aeromodelling group and sports but there is no dedicated club for it. There is no proper website or something run by students for the college. But, recently there was a space website opened.
