For eligibility criteria for computer science engineering is 3000 below rank should be there so that a student can be considered. And respective ranks will decide the following eligibility based on their branch. All the details can be found on the college website. Reservation is there on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because it is booming and wanted to aim for a higher package and got to know that there is 100% placement. Faculty members have very good knowledge of their respective subjects, and they taught us well. The curriculum is upgraded most recently as per the industry's requirement. The subjects were unlike normal colleges. Teachers are very helpful in academics as well as other activities

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offer internships for the students and the companies like Microsoft and dwollio 46.57 LPA and inteoit of 39.13 LPA and fidelity investment of 12lpa. there are many mini projects and major projects held in that college which are considered by the companies.

Placement Experience

During my tenure till now, placements have been great. The highest salary package offered was around 23 LPA around. Placement faculty members take utmost care of students regarding their placements and provide necessary training before the placements. Many famous companies like Google, Infosys, etc., visited here to offer placements for us.100 per cent placement is Guaranteed. My plan is to get placed in good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were not increased till now which remain at 2.3 l per year and there are many scholarships that students will receive. There are scholarships based on individual student performance. And when a student enters his 3rd year he starts to receive many opportunities to explore and internships also.

Campus Life

Hostel rooms are well maintained, and single sharing and double sharing rooms are available. Mess food is good, and it is an excellent place to study. The warden is supportive. The course is very good, and the teachers are all supportive in academics and other activities.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here. If the student is coming through Management seat then he has a different procedure. - There is no particular eligibilty criteria for admission in here, just one thing matter is the students rank which must be below the cutoff mentioned by the college. - The exam most preferred by the students is KCET, whose cutoff varies as per the branch they want admission for....Read More
