Course Curriculum Overview

There are two mid exams and four quizzes and one sem end It is very easy to pass the exams if we study All exams are based on both theoretical and application knowledge Almost all the teachers are very helpful and experienced and most of them are PhD holders. Some are pursuing, they have very deep knowledge in their subject and they even make the students ready for the industry. The curriculum is similar to other engineering colleges in India as all of them follow AICTE guided curriculum. I think the curriculum needs some updating. Like any other engineering college, you can pass the exam with a good GPA if you start preparing 4-5 days prior to exams.

Sit provides industrial training and internship to 2nd and third-year students The many industrial experts that provide training The internship is provided for students who have cgpa > 9 Projects are given in each sem instead of assignments which increases practical knowledge.

The majority of students got placed in our course. the average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA-9 LPA. The highest salary package offered this year is 29 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies here are Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant and Oracle

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 80% of the students get placed if they are willing to go in the IT sector because most of the companies here are only software-based and a few core companies also come but they take very fewer students. In our college, there are no restrictions and anyone can participate in the placements meeting. The basic criterion is an overall 7 GPA. So to conclude the placement scenario I will say that if you are pursuing a computer science degree here then there will be more job opportunities for you as compared to other branches.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities throughout the year. In a year we have one fest and are very good. We are having different clubs also for different interests of students. It is a very good college. The greenery in our college is mind-blowing. We have good placements in the software companies and if you work hard in your core field then definitely core companies will take you.

Hostel Facilities

The infrastructure is fine but the hostel is very good. There is Wi-Fi in the hostel block but the Wi-Fi speed is faster in the morning, in day time speed produces as everyone is using Wi-Fi. The mess they provide is average only because if you are coming to South India then you will love the food, you can't expect good north Indian food on the menu but the south food they provide is very good. There is proper hygiene and sanitation in the academic block hostel block or canteen medical care is provided.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
