Remarks
You need to have a science stream with biology. The application form, application fees, and dates are all available on the Delhi university website. The admission is now through Cuet( Common University Entrance Test) but at my time the admission was through the 12th board examination.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it has all 3 subjects(chemistry, botany, and zoology) taught and has better prospects than a zoology Hons or botany Hons course. There is a 1:30 faculty: student ratio. The teachers are highly qualified and teaching methods are advanced and practical. Term exams happen at 6 months intervals. They weren't very difficult to pass. Many times questions are repeated from previous year's papers.
Internships Opportunities
There are not many internships offered in my course (or any other science course) but in other commerce courses, there are many different internships offered to the students by the placement cell of the college. Science students have to search for their internships on their own.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such fee hike policy in these government colleges. The cost of the study is very less as this is a public college. My bachelor's degree cost me 47000 (excluding examination fees). There are no such scholarships, But there are a lot of quotas which you can avail. There are no such jobs on campus.
Campus Life
The annual fest consists of a month of various small fests that every course and society has. They are usually done in December or January. There are a lot of books in the library covering almost every subject and there is also a reading room. There is a sports ground and a basketball court on campus. Also, have many extracurricular activities in different societies. College also has NCC and NSS organizations. There is also a fully equipped gym. Many clubs are run by students, Faps(fine arts and photography society), Players(the drama society), Enactus, etc.
