Remarks

You should have a percentage greater than 60% to be eligible for this course. You can find the application form online at the CGC website. There is a reservation for students from Punjab state in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty well. The courses in which we are enrolled are good. The faculty members lacks sometimes in teaching which can be improved. The exams occur semester-wise. These exams are quite difficult as they are provided by the parent university PTU.

The placement of our college is nice. The highest package recorded was 35 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The placement of CGC is organized in collaboration with CU. Maximum students of CGC get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 45,000 tuition fees per semester, and if you opt for hostel facilities then a 4-seater hostel will cost you around 50,000 per semester. The scholarships are provided to Punjab state students only based on their class 12th marks.

Campus Life

The life at the campus is very amazing. There are libraries, gyms, food stalls everything available inside the campus. There are many sports and extracurricular activities organized on campus. Different fests and DJ nights are also organized here.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is quite average. The food provided here is not up to the mark. You have to just visit the campus and get a hostel booked for yourself. There are many PGs and falt near the locality of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

A true life of a student at nit jalandhar

Placement Experience:

Campus placment is good especially in the cse branch last year the highest went upto 52lpa while average increasing to 15lpa compared to 13lpa last year. The placements are offered in 4th year while internships in 3rd year.The top companies include google,microsoft,adobd etc.The percentage of students placed is really high of 91% which is consistent from past few years.My plans are to get in a big tech comapny like google or microsoft as the role of software developer.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
